The 4×4 truck-mounted crane is an all-wheel drive off-road truck-mounted lifting transport vehicle. It relies on a 4-wheel all-wheel drive special off-road chassis, integrates a vehicle-mounted hydraulic crane, and integrates the dual functions of hoisting and cargo transportation. It is different from ordinary two-wheel drive truck mounted cranes. It focuses on operations in complex and harsh road conditions. It is a special operation vehicle for mining areas, forest areas, field projects, mountain rescue, and desert infrastructure. Cranes are standard equipped with first-line brands such as XCMG, Sany, Shimei and others. The crane tonnage covers 2 tons to 12 tons, and is divided into two categories: straight arm telescopic type and folding arm folding type.
The core advantages of the 4×4 all-wheel drive off-road chassis: full-time four-wheel drive + dual differential locks: one-touch locking of the differential locks between the front and rear axles and between the axles, and the four wheels distribute power synchronously. It can easily pass through muddy swamps, steep slopes, gravel mountain roads, Gobi sand, and snow-covered frozen soil areas. Its ability to escape difficulties is far superior to that of two-wheel drive models, and it is suitable for unpaved outdoor and roadless conditions. Heavy-duty reinforced chassis: thickened frame, thickened heavy-duty steel plate suspension, large-pattern off-road wide tires, anti-bumping and twisting, and strong stability during full-load transportation. Cab and cargo compartment: Shock-absorbing suspended cab, air bag seats, comfortable driving; customized rail-type cargo compartment, the conventional compartment is 4.2 to 7 meters long, and can be modified as a closed compartment or a special compartment for log transportation as needed, with a rated load in the range of 5 to 9 tons. Hydraulic full-rotation operation: The crane relies on the power take-off of the chassis to drive the hydraulic system, which can rotate continuously at 360° without dead ends; the straight-arm multi-section telescopic arm has a maximum lifting height of 10 to 14 meters and an operating radius of 6 to 11 meters; the knuckle-arm crane has a compact body and has outstanding advantages in hoisting in small spaces;
Multiple safety protections: standard overload limit, emergency stop, hydraulic rear outriggers with large outrigger span, stable lifting and landing to prevent rollover; optional upper operating seat, wireless remote control, ground/high altitude dual-mode control, flexible and precise operation. Multi-functional expansion: it can be quickly replaced with wood grabbers, aerial work baskets, brick clamps, and drilling equipment. One vehicle has multiple uses, taking into account log harvesting, high-altitude maintenance, building material loading and unloading, and equipment hoisting.
Field infrastructure projects: wind power, water conservancy, photovoltaic projects in mountainous areas, road construction in remote villages, transfer and hoisting of sand and gravel building materials. Agriculture, forestry and mining: log harvesting and transportation in forest farms, loading and unloading of scattered mining equipment, and short-distance transportation of mineral materials. Emergency rescue and rescue: road landslide clearance, field transfer of flood control materials, rescue and hoisting of faulty equipment in remote areas. Oil field desert operations: relocation of small equipment in desert oil fields, transportation and hoisting of field pipeline auxiliary materials.
