4×4 chassis: The vehicle has a total of 4 floor-mounted wheels, all four wheels are driving wheels, and has a dual-axle structure. The front axle has both steering and driving functions, and the rear axle is a driving axle. It is equipped with a transfer case to achieve synchronous power output of the front and rear axles. It is different from the 4×2 two-wheel drive chassis and belongs to the all-wheel drive configuration. Conventional layout: two-axle vehicle, front steering drive axle + rear drive axle, engine power is connected to the transfer case through the gearbox, and power is transmitted to the front and rear axles through two transmission shafts, and all four wheels can obtain driving force.
Transmission system: A transfer case is installed on the two-wheel drive chassis to achieve two-wheel drive/four-wheel drive mode switching (some models lock four-wheel drive). High and low speed part-time four-wheel drive is optional, which is suitable for off-road and heavy-load escape conditions. Travel suspension: leaf spring or coil spring suspension is mostly used. Some off-road chassis are equipped with differential locks, which can lock the axle differential and prevent one-sided wheel from spinning and slipping. Frame and chassis: thickened high-strength beams, larger ground clearance, optimized chassis passability, and various special mounting points for upper body modifications are reserved on the chassis.
Strong off-road escape ability: four wheels output power at the same time, it is not easy to slip on muddy, snowy, mountainous, and potholed non-paved roads, and has excellent climbing performance; high driving stability: even grip on complex road conditions, sufficient traction for full load and steep slope driving; wide environmental adaptability: it can operate in mountainous areas, mining areas, field projects, and remote roadless areas.
Can be used for off-road trucks and pickup chassis: mining material transportation, forest operations, field exploration, emergency rescue transportation; special modified chassis: four-wheel drive sprinkler trucks, off-road tow trucks, forest fire trucks, emergency rescue vehicles, off-road truck cranes, oil field engineering vehicles; military/emergency vehicles: flood control rescue vehicles, field engineering operation vehicles, border defense material transport vehicles.
