DF Mengshi M50 Category III, with complete power transmission and travel braking system, no cargo box, and reserved standardized installation interfaces for upper body modification. It is a high-mobility special modification platform for military-to-civilian conversion. Inheriting the third-generation warrior military off-road technology, the non-load-bearing high-torsion-resistant girder frame and a full set of 4×4 full-time four-wheel drive system can be adapted to various types of body modifications such as off-road RVs, shelter command vehicles, rescue vehicles, and exploration vehicles. The National VI B compliant chassis meets the modification requirements of the special special vehicle announcement. It is oriented to extreme working conditions such as wilderness, plateau, Gobi, high cold and humidity, and provides a strong and reliable basic carrier for body parts.
Powered by Cummins 4.0/4.5L National VI B Diesel engine with low-speed and high-torque output, suitable for plateau anoxic environment; equipped with military-grade 5-speed manual/6-speed automatic transmission with high and low speed transfer case, optional three differential locks and central tire inflation and deflation system; front and rear double-wishbone coil spring independent suspension, two-way hydraulic shock absorption, minimum ground clearance of 380mm, approach angle of 45°, departure angle of 35°, wading depth up to 1200mm, maximum climbability of 60%, and excellent obstacle and trench crossing capabilities. It adopts a 24V vehicle electrical system to support external modification of electrical equipment; the power extraction, wiring harness, and installation points are reserved by the original factory to facilitate the docking and installation of shelters, residence cabins, and equipment cabins. The total vehicle mass is 6 tons. The chassis structure has passed rigorous military industry verification and is resistant to distortion and bumps. After modification, the bodywork is stable and reliable under high-intensity off-road bumpy road conditions.
